Nightfall
Nightfall is an ongoing series dedicated to exploring digital photo manipulation and how light and the lack thereof structures the spaces that we exist within. Specifically, the series began as a means of looking at how places once familiar take on foreign characteristics when deprived of typical sources of illumination. Digital manipulation of the images is used as a means of emphasizing the change in the space as recognizable elements take on more unfamiliar aspects. the manipulation is accomplished through the use of pixel sorting code manipulation targeted to obscure areas of the image.
